We Start with a Specially Selected 15-16 pound Country Ham (Our best size) and slice the Butt End. You will get around 15 slices for frying, which includes 5-6 Center Slices. The Ham Hock can be used to season beans Etc. The Shank End will be left for baking. A piece between 5 to 6 inches. This is the best of both ways to cook your Father's Uncooked Aged Country Ham. Makes a great gift providing enough Country Ham for several meals. Included with each Bake N Fry will be a detailed picture recipe for Baking and Frying your Country Ham. The SLices will be vacuumed packaged 2-3 Slices per package and the Half for baking in one sealed package. Refrigerate or Freeze for Storage upon arrival. Freezing does not change the flavor or texture of Country Ham that has been cut or sliced.
